Mission Statement: The Church Events Committee exists to glorify God by planning, coordinating, and supporting events that foster fellowship, spiritual growth, community outreach, and church unity. We seek to create welcoming, Christ-centered experiences where all can encounter God’s love and strengthen relationships within the body of Christ.
Vision Statement: To be a spirit-led team that designs meaningful and memorable church events, building a vibrant community of believers who are connected to Christ and one another through worship, service, and celebration.
What We Do
- Facilitate Fellowship: Organize events that encourage unity and fellowship within the congregation through diverse activities.
- Â Support Church Ministries: Plan and assist with events that align with the church’s mission, vision, and ministries.
- Enhance Outreach: Host events that invite and engage the surrounding community.
- Promote Excellence and Hospitality: Ensure events are welcoming, well-planned, and executed with attention to detail and care.
- Encourage Participation: Foster volunteerism and active involvement among church members.
- Internal Communication: Maintain good communication with church leadership and ministry leaders for event planning and scheduling.
Activities & Programs
- Annual Church Anniversary Celebrations
- Holiday Programs: Christmas pageants, Easter services, Harvest Festival.
- Fellowship Events: Game nights, fifth Sunday fellowship, friends and family day and family fun days.
- Outreach Programs: Back-to-school giveaways, health fairs, and Thanksgiving meal distributions.
- Conferences & Workshops: Leadership training, marriage retreats, and youth conferences.
- Banquets & Appreciation Events: Volunteer appreciation dinners, pastor’s anniversaries, and milestone celebrations.
