Mission Statement: The mission of the Children’s Church Ministry is to partner with parents in laying a spiritual foundation that leads children into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We are dedicated to teaching biblical truths in an engaging, safe, and loving environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to grow in their faith.
Vision Statement: Our vision is to raise up a generation of children who love God, love others, and live out their faith boldly. We envision children who understand God’s Word, develop a personal relationship with Christ, and reflect His love in their families, schools, and communities.
Our Objectives
- Biblical Education: Teach children the Word of God in age-appropriate, creative, and interactive ways.
- Spiritual Growth: Guide children toward a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and nurture their spiritual development.
- Discipleship: Encourage children to become followers of Christ who demonstrate love, kindness, and compassion.
- Engagement: Create a welcoming and fun environment that fosters learning and participation.
- Safety and Security: Provide a safe, secure, and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
- Family Partnership: Support and equip parents to be the primary spiritual leaders of their children.
Activities & Programs
- Sunday Children’s Church Services: Age-specific worship services featuring Bible lessons, worship, and fun activities.
- Children’s Praise and Worship: Joyful and interactive worship time with songs and movements designed for kids.
- Vacation Bible School (VBS): An annual week-long program filled with Bible lessons, crafts, music, and fun.
- Holiday Events: Christmas plays, Easter programs, and Harvest Festivals to celebrate Christian holidays.
- Bible Memory Verse Challenges: Fun contests and prizes for scripture memorization.
- Kids’ Community Outreach Projects: Involve children in missions projects such as collecting items for shelters or writing cards to seniors.
For some kids, we have the joy of working a little harder to make sure they are welcomed well. We call this our Breakthrough ministry and we seek to support neuro-diverse and special needs children. Parents and staff collaborate to find the best fit for the child. We have three different approaches:
Early Years (Ages 0-6): Inclusion model
Elementary (1st – 6th Grade): Inclusion model
Breakthrough (1st Grade – 18 years old): Sensory sensitive classroom
