Each week, New Salem Missionary Baptist Church serves families across Tampa through our food distribution outreach. We provide groceries and essential items to individuals and families in need, helping reduce food insecurity and support our local community.
Back to school
Through our Back-to-School outreach, we provide backpacks, school supplies, and resources to students and families throughout Tampa. Our goal is to ensure every child is prepared and confident for the school year.
Our Community Baby Shower supports expecting mothers by providing essential items such as clothing, diapers, and supplies. We aim to strengthen families and meet real needs in our community.

Who are we?
New Salem Missionary Baptist Church is a Christ-centered Baptist church located in Tampa, Florida. We are committed to preaching the Gospel, building strong families, and serving our community with love. Our mission is to help people grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and live out their faith daily.
What do we believe?
- The Bible – We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the final authority on faith and life.
- God – We believe in one God who exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- Jesus Christ – We believe Jesus is the Son of God, who died for our sins and rose again for our salvation.
- Salvation – We believe that salvation is a gift of grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
- The Holy Spirit – We believe the Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the son of God. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ.
- The Church – We believe in the local and universal church as the body of Christ.
- The Second Coming of Jesus Christ – We believe in the personal and visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ to earth and the establishment of His Kingdom.
