17 Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and doctrine. 18 For the Scripture says, “You shall not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain,” and, “The laborer is worthy of his wages.”1 Timothy 5:17-18

Our Objectives

Mission Statement: The mission of the Pastor’s Aide Committee is to prayerfully support, encourage, and serve the Pastor and First Family through acts of love, hospitality, and assistance. We are committed to undergirding our spiritual leader with the care and resources needed to fulfill their God-given calling with strength and joy.

Vision Statement: Our vision is to be a faithful and dedicated ministry that honors God by nurturing a culture of appreciation, support, and intercession for our Pastor and First Family. We strive to foster unity within the church by modeling servant leadership, compassion, and unwavering commitment to those who shepherd the flock.

  1. Offer Personal Support: Provide encouragement, love, and prayer to the Pastor and their family.
  2. Provide Practical Assistance: Help meet the personal and professional needs of the Pastor to ease their workload and stress.
  3. Promote Honor and Appreciation: Lead efforts to recognize and celebrate the Pastor’s service, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
  4. Facilitate Congregational Involvement: Encourage the church to actively support the Pastor through prayer, giving, and participation in special events.
  5. Create Fellowship Opportunities: Organize events that strengthen the relationship between the Pastor and the congregation.

Activities & Programs

Pastor & First Family Appreciation Month (or Anniversary): Annual celebration to honor the Pastor’s service and leadership.

Special Occasion Blessings: Recognize birthdays, holidays, and significant milestones with gifts, cards, and love offerings.

Prayer Support Team: Organize consistent prayer for the Pastor, including monthly or weekly prayer meetings.

Meal & Hospitality Ministry: Provide meals and hospitality for the Pastor and guests during special church events, revivals, or conferences.

Retreats & Refreshments: Coordinate opportunities for the Pastor to rest and rejuvenate (spa day, retreat sponsorship, etc.).

First Family Fellowship Events: Host informal gatherings or fellowship meals to encourage relational connections between the congregation and the First Family.
