For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. Matthew 25:35-36.
According to the will of God, the holy scriptures, the church constitution and benevolent guidelines, the Benevolence Ministry at New Salem Missionary Baptist Church is dedicated to providing compassionate care and support to those in need within our church and the broader community. This ministry aims on addressing various needs, including financial assistance, food, clothing, and other essential resources, while embodying the love and grace of Jesus Christ. The church provides assistance to the membership when in need and to the community where it is appropriate.
